How we handle your information.

The Veterinary Recruiter places veterinarians, credentialed technicians, practice managers and support staff with veterinary practices. Doing that means handling personal information — mostly resumes. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

We only hold information you choose to send us. In practice that is:

• From candidates: your resume and anything in it — name, contact details, work history, credentials and licensure — plus whatever you tell us about the kind of role you want.
• From practices: the contact details of whoever gets in touch, and the details of the role being filled.

We do not buy candidate data, and we do not collect anything about you automatically beyond what is described under This website below.

What we use it for

Candidate information is used to match you to open roles and to represent you to practices that are hiring. Practice information is used to run the search and to invoice for a placement. We do not use either for anything else, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.

Who we share it with

Your resume is shared with prospective employers as part of a search. We tell you which practices we are submitting you to before we do it — your resume is not circulated without your knowledge.

Beyond that, we share personal information only where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

We keep candidate information while it is useful for placing you, and remove it on request at any time. If you would like your details deleted, email us and we will confirm once it is done.

This website

This site sets no cookies, runs no advertising, and loads nothing from third-party servers — the fonts are served from this domain rather than a font host. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests in order to serve the page and may record aggregate, non-identifying traffic figures. There is no contact form; everything reaches us by email.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hire@theveterinaryrecruiter.co and we will respond. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we will honour those requests regardless of where you are.
